Good evening to you!

Today we want to talk about De Molen Brewery situated in Bodegraven, the Netherlands.

The brewery started to craft in 2004 in an historical windmill De Arkduif, along the Oude Rijn river.

Now, they have moved to another brewery, but the mill is still used! Today is a beer focused restaurant in a very nice location.

We have 3 oh their beers in our shop:

  • Bloed Zweet & Tranen (a Smoked Stout), is not for those looking for something easy. Heavily smoked, loads of chocolate and roasted malts. Yet a beer you can still enjoy all evening long. Flavour indication: Smoke, chocolate, roasted malts.
  • Mout & Mocca (a Coffee Imperial Stout),  is especially brewed for lovers of both coffee and imperial stout. Rich and full, sweet and roasted. A perfect beer to finish your diner with. Flavour indication: coffee (strong), chocolate.

  • Tsarina Esra (an Imperial Porter), it’s fullness, it’s richness in flavor and it’s warming feeling makes it perfect for cold nights. Flavor indication: Chocolate, liquorice.
